Went on a walk to the train station to collect some train tickets, and suddenly a giant cloud of mist just completely blanketed Durham. Visibility was down to like 50 yards or something ridiculous. I waited on the platform for a train to seemingly coming out of nowhere. It paid off after about 10 minutes, when a train flew by without stopping, leading to the photo above.

Complete sympathy for the fellow, it sure is a long way home for many students returning to Durham this week, ready for the start of term which is just over a week away. Good luck to everyone studying for exams!
